Dr. Thomason was born and raised in Hinton, OK and has deep family roots in the area. He can trace two lineages that go back four generations to families that homesteaded in the area. In fact, the land the clinic is now on was homesteaded by his great-great grandfather Mr. Charles Luellen. After graduating from Hinton High School, Dr. Thomason received his bachelor’s degree in Zoology/Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. He then attended medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK where he served as Class President for four years. Dr. Thomason underwent his dual residency training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in Kansas City, MO at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Thomason also received a Global Health certification while attending residency through Children’s Mercy Hospital. He is married to his wife Melissa Thomason who works alongside him at the clinic. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Thomason is an active follower of Jesus Christ, enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, family, and friends. He enjoys traveling and time at the lake or in the mountains.
